Accountability guide

How to do the 75 day challenge with friends

The data and the group chats agree: people who do 75-day challenges with friends finish, people who do them alone mostly don't. Here's how to set it up properly.

Why friends are the real challenge hack

Every mechanism that makes challenges work — streaks, photos, restart rules — is a way of being accountable to something. A friend is the strongest version, because she isn't a number: she notices. Quietly quitting a Notes-app checklist costs nothing; quietly quitting when your best friend watches your progress bar every night costs pride.

Setting up a group challenge in Slay 75

  1. Start your challenge75 Soft, Glow Up, or anything else in Slay 75.
  2. Open the Friends tab and share your invite — a link for the group chat, or a QR code she scans off your phone at brunch. Invite links look like slay75.com/ABC123 and open straight into the app.
  3. See each other live. Once connected, you see each friend's challenge day, streak and progress — updated as she checks things off.
  4. Mix challenges freely. You don't all need the same rules: one of you on 75 Hard, two on 75 Soft, one on Sugar Free still works — the accountability is about showing up daily, not matching tasks.

Ground rules that keep groups alive

Long-distance counts too

The friend system is built for different cities and time zones — she checks off her morning workout in London, you see it at breakfast in New York. A shared challenge is one of the better ways to stay close to someone far away: same goal, same 75 days, visible effort.
